Class Descriptions

Cardio Boom!: We invite you to a heart pumping and energizing cardio workout that will improve and build your endurance. By incorporating kickboxing and dancing techniques this class is sure to push you to your maximum potential.

Early Bird – Strength & Conditioning: Join the early birds to get your day going! Build muscular endurance, conditioning and core strength through a variety of weight resistant, plyometric and anaerobic workouts. This class will improve your overall muscular strength and body composition.

SAK – Speed, Agility & Kickness: SAK is designed to improve your overall balance, stability and coordination. Whether you’re the typical gym enthusiast or an athlete, this unique workout will teach you diverse techniques & exercise for improving explosiveness, stability, speed, footwork & overall agility. SAK’s regimen and goal is to build your technical skills, mental discipline, and endurance.

Cardio Strike: Cardio Strike is our version of Cardio Kickboxing with an emphasis on striking. A variety of martial arts and boxing techniques are used to get the cardio workout of a lifetime. Not only is this one of the most efficient ways to burn calories, this is a great basis for gaining kickboxing skills and self-defense skills.

Stand-Up 101: Learn basic to intermediate boxing and kickboxing skills in this class. Stand-up 101 will teach you basic science including the most effective punch combos used in the sports today by utilizing the heavy bag, speed bag, double end bag and mitts. You will learn to incorporate shadow boxing effectively to improve form and creativity with your stand-up.

Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu – Beginners and Advanced: A more aggressive version of Jiu-Jitzu, Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu incorporates various Olympic style techniques seen in judo and wrestling. These techniques are growing in popularity amongst mixed martial artists to take their ground game to the next level. For the newcomer to grappling, this class will be your foundation in take-downs and take-down defense in your Jiu-Jitsu game.

Striking Advanced: Put your technique, discipline and hard work into action. Begin to experience the more combative side of martial arts through higher levels and different styles of training. Striking Advanced will utilize bag and mitt work, Thai pads and live sparring to experience what it means to be a competitive athlete and martial arts.

Open Gym: Push yourself to put your skills into practice – take advantage of having a space at your fingertips to improve and perfect your Martial Arts techniques. Open Gym can be the small amount of crucial time that allows one to maximize gains and see results or give a competitor the edge over their competition.

Grappling Take-downs: Beginners and Advanced: With classes designed for beginners, collegiate and MMA level athletes, grappling Take-downs will help you become an all-around, hard-nosed wrestler. Practicing the fundamentals and high level techniques, you will learn how to control a match and dominate the take-down game. Although wrestling is often overlooked as a martial art, it has greatly impacted and competitive MMA scene and provides a great foundation for the transition to any type of martial arts.
